Winnie Gao：creative entrepreneur with decades of track records in international creative project curation and management

Chinese born educated in China, Canada and the UK, Winnie brings decades of business expertise in creative industry curation and management, including communications, and fundraising.

Founded New Institute of Fashion (NIoF) brining together three large partnerships with local clients and London Fashion and Textile Museum (“FTM”). Winnie was Creator & Director of London as “Guest City” of Suzhou Design Week 2019, and “Suzhou Garden Art Festival” onwards for consecutive 3 years. Winnie was also GM of Beijing Design Week International Business, identified, raised funds for, executed projects including “China House Vision” (with Japanese design guru Kenya Hara), “China Design Challenge” (with U.S. design brand “Kikkerland”, ”HuaRi Home”, “Boston Science”), “Design More” (design e-commerce platform) and “RedStar Design Fund”, a non-profit platform for supporting local emerging designers.
